SBH Offers Higher Interest Rate on Deposits to Women Customers

State Bank of Hyderabad on Thursday 8th March, on the event of International Women’s Day, decided to offer higher rate of interest on deposits to women customers. It is offering 10 percent interest rate per annum on term deposits, which is 50 basis points higher than the normal prevailing rate.

This concession will be applicable only to the fresh deposits from the public. Women senior citizens will be given extra interest of 0.50 percent. An official from SBH has also decided to conduct women-customers meet.

Also, separate counters for women customers in all SBH branches and opening of exclusive branches for self-help groups were on the anvil.
