No Claim if Insured Vehicle Not Transferred in Name of New Owner

The UT Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has announced that, if a vehicle is sold to another person and the registration of the vehicle is not transferred to the new owner then no insurance claim can get compensation for the damaged vehicle.

Thus, if a person likes to sell vehicle, after the sale, the registration certificate of the vehicle must be transferred in the name of the new owner.
