Mascot Contest For Public, Rs 1 Lakh Cash Prize: Income Tax Dept

A mascot contest has announced by Income Tax department for the public that would carry a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh for the winner. According to the income tax department, the mascot will be used by income tax department for the purpose of publicity and it should be captivating and inspiring particularly to the young and future taxpayers.

The IT department in its advertisement said that, the mascot which you would introduce should promote the vision and values of the Income Tax department and should exhibit a definite brand value.

According to a senior officer of IT department, the contest is open for Indian citizens only and the last date for submission of the mascot or art work is September 23. A selection committee will announce winner by selecting the mascot.
