Consequences of Ignoring Dharma in the Name of Bhakti
A society in which individuals claim to preach devotion, yet they break ethics, is a society that is morally decadent. Legitimacy goes to waste, faith is destroyed, and religion becomes unappreciated. Those who engage in false bhakti stand stagnant. Their devotion is not transformative since their actions do not match their words.

True bhakti means living a life of virtue while being driven by the Divine love. Bhakti, which is authentic, is all about maintaining integrity, patience, and selflessness, while ensuring hard work and accountability in everyday life. Devotion without religion is not bhakti – it is an illusion. Bhakti devoid of dharma is sterile and robotic. They combine to complete, to make the spiritual journey a vibrant and transformative experience. Soulful submission is not noisy, but silent; not the external but internal worship. When bhakti is guided by dharma, spirituality is not just true, but also tremendously elevating to both the individual and society.
